Icelandic seaweed has evolved over eons of time and developed potent bioactive compounds that ensure its survival under the harsh conditions of the Arctic region. These are the compounds that we are particularly interested in and utlize in the TARAMAR line of purely Icelandic skincare
These compounds have astonishingly visible effects, infusing the with health and turning back the clock on skin aging. For example, one of our favorite seaweeds produces compounds that inhibit the breakdown of collagen as well as the elastin webs of the skin for a firmer, more lifted look. All of the seaweeds we use contain powerful antioxidants and in addition to compounds that stimulate dermal cells to balance inflammation.
